It's wonderful to be able to say that the Digital Edition of Rainmaker by Luke Gearing, the third and final Salvage Union Adventure Module, has now been sent to all eligible backers. You should have been sent an e-mail to access your download, as well as be able to access the download via BackerKit. If you have not received your copy please get in touch with us at [email protected] and we'll help correct it.
We'd love to get your thoughts and feedback on Rainmaker. There's a very small window (until Monday next week) to suggest any edits and changes that you might find in the text. You can do so via this form.

Wave 2 Fulfilment Update
With Rainmaker complete we're moving ahead with printing everything else left on the project. We're aiming to get all three Adventure Modules, We Were Here First!, Rainmaker and False Flag, as well as the Salvage Union Poster to print by the end of next week at the latest. We'll further update when everything is submitted and we have a clearer print and distribution time line.
Wave 1 US Fulfilment Update
We're happy to confirm that the Wave 1 Pallet of Salvage Union (Salvage Union Core, Salvage Union Special Edition, Dice, and Patches) have arrived in the US. Our fulfilment partner is now processing these and will fully begin distribution by the end of October. We'll further update when books begin to be sent out.

An update on all our progress this month.
Rainmaker
We're hard at work finishing the layout and final touches on Rainmaker. We're aiming to have this Module finished and released in PDF within October this month. It's the final large part of the Salvage Union project to finish and we're pushing to get it all wrapped up.

Once Rainmaker is finished we're going to be working on final pre-print edits for Rainmaker as well as We Were Here First! and False Flag.

Once the Adventure Modules have had their final edits complete and are finalised for print we'll be sending them out to our printers in the Uk. We're aiming to be sending all of the Adventure Modules as well as the Salvage Union Poster in October and expect approximately a month turn around on the printing, and ideally quicker than that. As per Wave 1 we'll be distributing UK, EU and Rest of World orders ourselves and our US distributor will be handling US based orders. We'll further update on the progress of this.

The Wave 1 shipment to the US is still on sea freight to its destination, we're expecting it to arrive this month. Our distributor is prepped to receive the shipment and start sending out straight away. We'll further update when US Wave 1 distribution begins.

If you supported us at any of the pledge tiers that included a custom game of Salvage Union with you and your group run by the designers, we've already been in touch to arrange that. Please get in touch if you haven't already for more details about your game.
Salvage Union Retail
Currently Salvage Union is not available for sale as we distribute the Kickstarter and Pre-Orders.
If you or a friend are interested in picking up any of the Salvage Union books we're aiming for a full retail launch of Salvage Union, including both Digital and Physical versions of the Salvage Union Core Book and all of the Adventure Modules in November. We'll also be releasing the game digitally on both DriveThru RPG and Itch and sending codes to all backers for those platforms.
Of course we're aiming to fulfil everything on the Kickstarter first and this date may fluctuate based on that. We'll further announce closer to the time when we plan on launching and you can sign upto the Leyline Press Newsletter here if you wish to be alerted when the Salvage Union goes on sale at retail.
DragonMeet 2023
We'll be attending DragonMeet on on SATURDAY 2nd DECEMBER 2023. We'll be in the Lower Hall and will let you know our exact stand number as soon. If you're planning on attending the convention it will be great to see you there! If all goes well, and backers have received their orders, we'll also have Salvage Union available for sale at the convention so it will be a great chance to pick up the game if you haven't already.

Hello Salvagers,
It's with, if we're honest at this point relief, that we're happy to announce that Wave 1 of Salvage Union has been shipped out to backers via the Leyline Press studio. We've shipped out nearly 1,000 parcels this week which is a lot of packing! However it feels really good to be sending out physical books to backers and we can't wait for them to finally be in your hands.
Specifically all Kickstarter Backers and Pre-Order Backers who ordered any of the following items have now had their items shipped.

Special Edition Order Note
The Salvage Union Special Edition includes a Dust Jacket, with a handy reference sheet, that appears identical to the Core Book cover. This means on a glance, when sealed, it can be mistaken for the standard Core Book. If you're a Special Edition backer you may as a result mistake your Special Edition for a standard Core Book. You can check if it's correct by either opening it and checking it for the blue cloth cover, or looking at the trim of the book where the cloth cover will show from the Dust Jacket. Some pictures below for clarity.

Tracking and Delivery
The majority of orders with a few exceptions below are being sent tracked. You should receive an e-mail by tomorrow (16/09/2023) with tracking information to whatever e-mail to whatever address you made your order with. If you haven't received this or have any issues with your order please get in touch with us at [email protected] or via Kickstarter.
UK orders should take 1-2 business days to arrive so the majority of UK backers should have their orders by the end of next week (22/09/2023). International orders will take 7-9 business days to arrive so please allow for approximately 2-3 weeks (06/09/2023), and double check your tracking if you have issues.

Salvage Union Distribution and Fulfilment Update - Important Please Read!

Hello Salvagers,
We're incredibly happy to announce that the Salvage Union Core Book and Special Edition has arrived from the printers and is ready to distribute. We're going to start sending them out immediately, please read the below carefully for information on distribution.
UK, EU and Rest of World Distribution
We're going to begin distributing the Salvage Union on Tuesday the 12th of September to all Kickstarter Backers and pre-orders outside of the US. This includes everyone in the UK, EU and Rest of World. We hope to have everything shipped by Friday the 15th of September and will update you when shipping has completed.
We currently have the Salvage Union Core Book, Salvage Union Special Edition, patches and dice ready for distribution and will be sending out all orders that include these items.
Unfortunately as we are still awaiting the finalisation of the Adventure Modules and printing of the Posters we aren't yet able to fulfil any orders that include the Adventure Modules or Posters yet. We hope to have these printed and ready for distribution in October - November and will further update when they're ready.
We do apologise that some people will be getting their books and others wont. We of course ideally would want to send everything out at the same time, but as we've suffered a series of delays in the project at this stage we want to start getting books out to backers as soon as possible.
EU Orders and Customs Fees
Unfortunately our initial distribution option fell through due to delays in the project and external factors that made it unfeasible for us. We'll be sending out EU orders from the UK. This means some backers in the EU may receive custom charges on their orders. If you do receive charges please send us an e-mail at [email protected] with proof of your customs charge, and we'll refund your order by the amount charged. We apologise for this and hope to be able to secure a means to distribute to the EU customs free going forwards.
US Distribution
The shipment of Salvage Union Core Books and Special Editions to our US distributor is estimated to arrive in October. We'll further update when they arrive and distribution begins. We will be sending the Adventure Modules and Posters in a second shipment so as with the other orders there will be a delay between them.
BackerKit Surveys
The majority of you have filled in your BackerKit survey at this stage. However not everyone has, this is now your absolute last chance to do so before we begin distributing.
Locking Addresses
We're going to be locking ALL addresses, including US addresses, on Monday the 11th of September at 5 PM BST. If you need to update your address details this is now your last chance to do so. You can change it via BackerKit or get in touch with us.
Final chance to update your order
If you want to make any changes to your order contact us via Kickstarter or at [email protected] by Monday the 11th of September at 5 PM BST. We will not be making any changes to orders past this date. Prices on everything will be increasing ready for the retail release on the game, so now is the last chance to get any items in the Kickstarter at a reduced price.
Final chance to Pre-Order
We're going to be closing all pre-orders on Monday the 11th of September at 5 PM BST. If you haven't secured your copy, now is the last chance to do so. We will be fulfilling all pre-orders together. Otherwise you'll need to wait for the retail release of the game. Prices as noted will be increasing the price on the Salvage Union Core Book as well as Adventure Modules, from the pre-order prices so now is also the last chance to buy Salvage Union at a reduced price point.
We're finalising the Salvage Union 1.2 PDF and will be distributing this on Tuesday the 12th of September. This will be fully updated with all of the content in the Core Book.
We'll also be releasing everything on DriveThru RPG and Itch alongside the retail release of the game in the next few months.

Salvage Union Magpie STL Launched!

Hi Salvagers,
A short update to announce we've just sent the Magpie STL to all backers at Digital Edition 'Hacker' tiers or higher. You should now have an e-mail from BackerKit with your link to download. You can also manually check your BackerKit and download it from there. If you haven't received it please get in touch with us at [email protected] we'll help resolve it for you.
We've done a test print on our 3D printer for tolerances and it seems to have come out well. If you do however have any issues please let us know.
As a note this reward is just for Kickstarter backers and not currently available to those who pre-ordered. We don't have any current plans to sell the STL separately as we want to keep it backer exclusive for now.
